Weekly digest #62
Featuring Pulp, Sunglaciers, Wet Leg, Cancer Bats, The Hives and more
I’m feeling slightly jaded today. Maybe it’s the loss of an hour as clocks here in the UK leap forward an hour, or just maybe it’s the party for 30 we hosted last night for the culmination of Mrs T’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Marking the point at which my wife’s age caught up with my own, the last week also included a musical element to her three-week-long schedule of festivities, but more on those gigs in Wednesday’s newsletter.
For now, I’m being powered by leftover Turkish borek, Indian samosas and green tea (because, unlike Milo, there’s only so much coffee I can drink).
So, onto Fire Red Sky’s latest weekly digest of punk rock, alt rock and indie music news and writing. It’s a light read, a quick catch up on the week that lands with you every Sunday.
The links are mainly taken from my social media feeds, so if you want more of this sort of thing than you can follow me on Facebook, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon (I’m also on Instagram).
